Terms and Conditions
Payment Terms
Single Bookings
- Payment is required prior to the event start. Your event registration(s) is not confirmed until payment is received. Please send proof of payment to bookings@solar-training.org
- On registration, you will receive an invoice to make payment on. Neither the issuing of the invoice, nor the “payment due” date is a guarantee of your attendance on a course. Only payment in full guarantees your place on a course. We can accommodate a maximum of 18 participants at each of our academies. We encourage you to make payment the day you receive your invoice to be sure of your place on your chosen training.
Group Bookings
- Only payment in full guarantees your places on a course or the agreed course dates.
- The agreed payment for team trainings are binding regardless of the actual number of participants. The client undertakes to pay the specified amount, irrespective of whether the originally planned number of participants is reached or not.
PV GreenCard Assessments
Late Arrivals
- Theory assessment: The start time is 08h00. Arriving late for the theory assessment will take away from the time allocated for you to complete the exam. No extra time will be added.
- Practical: The start time is 08h00. You need to arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. You will not be allowed to participate in the practical assessment if you arrive later than the scheduled start time. In order to re-schedule you for another practical assessment, a fee of R5 000 ex VAT will be charged.
Reserve dates for Cape Town Assessments
- Due to the unpredictable nature of Cape Town weather we cannot guarantee that the PV Assessments in Cape Town take place as scheduled.
- For every PV Assessment we have allocated 'reserve days' which are scheduled exactly 1-week after the original days.
- Participants have to make sure that they are available for both the original and the 'reserve days'.
- We alert participants about the possibility of rescheduling to a reserve day at least 72 hours in advance; a final decision will be made at least 48 hours in advance of your original exam date.
- If you are unable to attend this reserve day, you will be allocated a place at the next scheduled PVA exam date at no extra charge.
